The other day I recieved such a lovely suprise in the post. A bracelet from Lyla Loves, an online jewelley store, which I heard about on The Blogger Programme. I realised that I hadn’t spoken about either of them on here before, so I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to talk about both.
The Blogger Programme is one of the many online communities that are designed to help bloggers and brands connect. This was the first one I came across, so I’m pretty loyal to it, and it also seems to have the nicest layout. Basically bloggers join for free and are given access to opportunities that brands might want bloggers for. I love to use it to see what is going on in the world of blogging, and some of the opportunities that are made available are quite amazing – and though the best ones are for those with a bigger internet following or impact, there are opportunities even for people like me who are pretty small.
Anyway, one day I was looking through the brands in general and I saw one called Lyla Loves. I was drawn in by the logo, and the colour scheme and I found myself scrolling through the online store restraining myself from buying everything in the store – and the best part is, the jewellery isn’t expensive, so you can actually buy some amazing stuff for very little – the bargain hunter in me likes this a lot. A few weeks later I saw that Lyla Loves was looking for what bloggers were interested in, and the sorts of jewellery that they would like and I remember putting a comment in on what I thought looked nice, but little bloggers like me usually get looked over – and then out of the blue I got a little parcel with a beautiful bracelet that was one of a few being given away. It is so stunning, and has such beautiful colours.
It’s quite definitely a ‘me’ bracelet, and I feel like the whole feel of the website and the products are very ‘me’ -quite bohemian. And even though, unfortunately, the one that I was sent is a bit too big for my wrist, I’m definitely going to be wearing this out whenever I can.
So a big thank you to Lyla Loves, and don’t be suprised if you see some more of her things popping up here and there, because it’s hard to resist the things on the website, because they really are so so stunning.
