Chiltern Open Air Museum

Just a few photos from when I went to the Chiltern Open Air Museum. It has ‘rescued’ buildings from all over the place, including a 1940s prefab house, an RAF Briefing Room, 18th and 20th century cottages, Edwardian bathrooms, a cafe in an old furniture factory, the old High Wycombe toll house, a traditional farm, an Iron Age house and more. It’s really overwhelming with the amount of different information about so many different eras in one place – all I could think about was what future archeologists would think if they came across this place. It’s a beautiful setting, in the English countryside, and I loved taking some photos there.
