Passionfruit & Raspberry Fruit Blend | Cocktail Wednesdays

Welcome back to Cocktail Wednesdays!

This week it’s another red drink! I just realised that all the drinks I’ve made so far have been red or pink – next week there will be something of a different colour!

This week I decided to make the most of a massive bowl of passion fruit/grenadillas that we had in our kitchen and make a super fruity cocktail. It turned out a little bit more of an alcoholic fruit smoothie than a fancy cocktail, but I really enjoy it.

What You Will Need:

Mainstay Cane

Passionfruit/Grenadilla

Raspberries (frozen or fresh)

Ice

Sugar

Water (to top up)

Method:

1. First you’re going to need to cut up some of your grenadillas, I used about four for two glasses (you can strain the seeds out of the juice if you prefer). You can use grenadilla juice, but I feel that the real thing has so much more flavour.

2. Put all the juice, raspberries (about 10 roughly), a few ice cubes, about a teaspoon of sugar and a shot of Mainstay per person (depending on taste) into a blender.

3. Blend it all together as fine as possible – It turns such a stunning bright colour.

4. Pour into glasses and top up with still or sparkling water, and enjoy!
