So Valentines Day is in a few days and I’m sure you’ve seen all of the hundreds of Valentines Day Gift Guides floating around the internet and I decided to join in a little bit, but with a bit of a difference. The best part about Valentines Days as a single person, or even just any other person, is all of the cute stuff that appears in the shop for Valentines Day. I’m not just talking about all the chocolate that goes on sale on the 15th of February, I’m talking about the cute homeware that’s supposed to be gifts, that actually I adore for myself.
I see this day as an opportunity to buy yourself something cute, and I’ve put together a little gift guide of some of the things that I’ve seen that I would love to buy (or receive, I’m not going to lie).
This first group is from Woolworths SA, and I’ve actually bought the mug with the little red hearts mug, because it was only R19.95 and it’s literally so cute – Gold Heart Mug, Little Red Hearts Mug, Big Red Heart Mug, Red Heart Bowl, Gold Heart Bowl, Slate Heart Plate.
My second group comes from Cotton On and their sub brand Typo, which I love so much (I would deck out my whole house from Typo if I could) – Heart Notebook, Pattern Notebook, Love Bookends, Heart Chalkboard, Heart Cork board, Flowery Day Dress 1, Flowery Day Dress 2, Floral Jumpsuit.
Mr Price Home does some beautiful home things, and since recently I’ve become obsessed with home stores so you can imagine how much I love this store! – Love Marquee Light, Heart Marquee Light, Heart Scatter Cushion, Floral Duvet Cover, Love Photo Frame, Beaded Heart Decoration.
Lastly I thought that I’d include some beauty items that I would love to buy as a treat for myself, which all come from most decent hughstreet make stores like Boots etc – Essie Cashmere Matte Collection, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick, Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon Trio Gift Set, Viktor and Rolf Flower bomb, Soap & Glory Love At First Blush Blushing Powder, Real Techniques Bold Metal Brush Collection, Sleek Make Up i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette.
If you are looking for a beautiful, and different card to buy for Valentines Day I wanted to recommend Mango Salute! You can personalise an amazing Fine Art card on their website for £4.50 and they will post it first class anywhere in the world for free. The wonderful people at Mango Salute let me have a go experiencing their cards, and I can’t wait to tell you more about it very soon when I get the cards! They are also great for cards for other occasions, and you can check out their website here.
They also have given my readers (that’s you!) 30% off all of your orders before the end of March! All you have to do is enter VDay15 at the check out when you’ve made your order – you’re welcome in advance 😉
The pictures above are some of my favourite cards from the Mango Salute Valentines Day collection – which are all made by some incredible artists.
Whatever your relationship status is I hope that you enjoy your Valentines Day, and if you want to buy something for you, a significant other or a friend I hope this might give you some inspiration!
I just posted a gift guide for him and her on my blog too. https://glowingdoll.wordpress.com/
